Welcome to our first 2022 Town Hall!

The theme of our first company-wide Town Hall is Moving Together towards Success!  We will update you on Seisma successes from 2021, and exciting things to come in 2022.  Everyone is part of the team and has played a role in getting us successfully from a company with around 150 employees to over 350 – and growing!

We are still in the early stages of our growth journey.  We are so grateful to have everyone along as we build a group of dedicated employees doing amazing things for our clients.

Your Employee Value Proposition (EVP) Explained

Work does rhyme with perk!  We have a number of EVP initiatives that we are proud to provide our team members.  The full document can be accessed in the DOWNLOADS areas of your Astute portal.

Please note that permanent & casual employees have different benefit options available.   The document in your Astute portal will have all of the details of your particular EVP.

When can I claim one of my benefits?

Once you have passed your probation period.

6 months for permanent employees or 12 months continuous service for casual employees.

You will then be entitled to access the full suite of employee benefits relevant to you as either a permanent or casual employee.

How do I claim a benefit?

In most instances, you will need to email hr@seisma.com.au

But it will depend on which benefit you are claiming – see the handy table below.

BIRTHDAY VOUCHER Happy Birthday! We will send this to you automatically on or around your birthday.
HOME OFFICE ALLOWANCE This is reset annually. Forward a copy of your receipt to HR.
TALENT REFERRAL BONUS $1,000 for each person who passes 3 months of employment at Seisma. Use the handy Referral form
EMPLOYEE ASSISTANCE PROGRAM 3 hours professional counselling support. Contact D’Accord directly (details in Astute)
VACCINATION SUPPORT – Flu Vaccination Reimbursement of cost. Send your receipt to HR.
VACCINATION SUPPORT – COVID 1/2 day paid leave to help you become DOUBLE vaccinated (not applicable for boosters). Email HR and we will have this applied to your timesheet.
COMMUNITY CONTRIBUTION Seisma are part of Pledge 1% – this happens at a corporate level. You are welcome to discuss our ESG salary sacrifice options further.
LONGEVITY REWARD On your anniversary of another year of service, your annual leave balance will increase by 1 day. No action is required.
PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT An amount that can be used towards your career training as agreed with your manager. Agree with your manager/Capability Lead.  Then email HR.
SUPERANNUATION INCREASES These will be automatically applied when legislated. No action is required.

We are officially launching our employee feedback process.  This is a confidential form that will be sent to our People & Culture Manager Jessica.

We encourage you to use this form for any kind of feedback such as;

  • To offer a suggested process improvement
  • To acknowledge a fellow team member for excellence or outstanding teamwork
  • To report an incident
  • To alert us to a potential issue on a site

The form can be anonymous – however it will remain confidential as with all things HR unless you elect otherwise, and if we don’t know who leaves the feedback we won’t be able to followup with you.  So we do encourage you to leave your details.
